Description:But, we need your help to keep the search going! The City Nature Challenge is an opportunity to get outside and document species in your area including birds, bugs, animals, plants, and any other wild living thing from April 27th— April 30th. Currently on FDL Reservation we have documented over known invasive species locations that include species such as buckthorn, wild parsnip, tansy, spotted knapweed, honeysuckle, Siberian pea shrub, and many others. Expertise in identification is not required. The event will be taking place outside so dress appropriately for the weather. Maps are attached showing the parking area and hiking trails for both sites.
